From Klaus, in Germany. I had to look this place up on google images to get a further look at those chalk cliffs. Rugen is a German island in the Baltic Sea.

Thank you, Klaus. This place is very striking, indeed!

My profile at postcrossing states my love of cathedrals so I have been sent a few. I recognized this one from Prague, CZ because I have another view of it in another postcard. It is just magnificent! All of that detail! I always find myself curious about the people who actually spent their lives dedicated to the minutiae of building such great structures. This probably explains why I read Ken Follett's, "Pillars of the Earth" straight through - and then went back to the first page and read it again! Great book. I have read it a couple of times more since those first double-tap readings. -Thanks, Jana!

This is from Turkiye. I love the stark haunting beauty of the landscape, and the balloons. I want to go balloon sailing! This postcard reminds me of the annual International Balloon Fiesta held in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Looks like fun to me! Thanks, M.!
